What to expect:

  • Manage and monitor the company's IT infrastructure as well as that of partner companies.
  • Conduct IT security audits and review IT infrastructures for technical requirements, security standards, and data protection compliance.
  • Set up secure connections to near-shore partners and ensure seamless collaboration within the extended workbench framework.
  • Administer and support Windows and Linux user operating systems.
  • Manage and optimize the company's Linux server landscape.
  • Implement and manage container-based applications using Docker.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and automations using Bash to improve efficiency.
  • Contribute to interdisciplinary tasks for expanding and optimizing IT infrastructure, such as integrating new technologies, scaling systems, or planning IT projects.
  • Optionally, receive training and certification as a data protection officer within the company.

What you should bring:

  • Completed education or degree in computer science, system administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing and optimizing IT infrastructures, ideally in an environment involving external partners.
  • Knowledge in network security, data protection, and IT compliance.
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems, container technologies like Docker, and scripting languages (e.g., Bash).
  • Enthusiasm for new technologies and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • A structured, solution-oriented working style and strong teamwork skills.
